Support

Aloha,

If you like what I do what and want to support this kind of work, I’m gracious for your generosity!

However, given my love for these beautiful islands and my short but inspiring background working with some of Hawaiʻi’s rarest endemic species, I wanted to point out a few of the amazing organizations that work across the islands to protect Hawaiʻi—many of which work to save some of the rarest species in the world from going extinct.

There are non-profits doing amazing work on every island, which is why, if you want to give money to causes that matter—to the people with actual boots on the ground working in some of the most arduous landscapes imaginable—I highly recommend supporting one of the amazing organizations from the island of your choice listed below!

They all do amazing work and can always use your help!

Lavaslope False Lobelia / Koliʻi - (Trematolobelia singularis)

Nēnē - (Branta sandvicensis)

Kauaʻi

Molokai

Naʻu / Nānū - (Gardenia brighamii)

ʻIʻiwi - (Drepanis coccinea) / Koa - (Acaica koa)

Support Hawaiʻi

If you’d like to support island-wide conservation efforts, consider donating to the Plant Extinction Prevention Program (PEPP), the Snail Extinction Prevention Program (SEPP), or the Hawaiʻi American Bird Conservancy (ABC).

ʻIʻiwi - (Drepanis coccinea) / Māmane - (Sophora chrysophylla)

Mahalo!
